Who here likes to organize their own spiritual practice in their head like I do? Who here would respect if their family went to church, but would rather be outdoors among nature and true spiritual energy? Who here has any shamanistic beliefs, such as believing in string theory or that every energy in the universe is like a web of power and the whole universe and beyond is one collective higher force/power? Let's talk Eclecticism here. I'm researching Paganism, but I like to mix and blend certain aspects, and I'll even take ideas from other organized groups, such as buddhism, the peace and love aspects of Christianity, not the martyr stuff and the crucifixion stuff. I respect anyone who follows any path, even if I don't agree with them completely.

I believe in the power of nature and that everything is entwined.. as for Paganism, I'm very curious about the 1st religion of Britain...have you explored Wicca its a kind of white witchcraft,in which the followers are forbidden from harming another, also Wicca incorporates some aspects of Paganism

... I also believe very much in reincarnation, and the continuation of the soul ..E.G that is the dead can survive the last journey that's not at all for my peace of mind, but I can say categorically, I have no doubt there is life after death...

I've explored Wicca, and have taken some aspects from it that I like such as "do what ye will, harm none" and I've turned my dresser into an altar, but I don't worship the Mother Goddess, I don't put a gender or image on the higher power. I also believe in reincarnation, even so much that a human could spend its next life as some insect or something if that's what fate held for them.

Well, I'm a Hellenic Polytheist and a reconstructionist, meaning that I follow the old ways as much as possible. that said, I'm not as recon as I'd like to be when he comes to following the rituals and the calendar. While it is true that I follow a strict Greek pantheon and do not include any magical or newage elements to my faith, I know many others do. As I said in my post, A Little About My Religion *or faith, forget which word I used*, we as a whole, are very eclectic. But thank you Goblin, for saying that Wicca incorperates some elements of paganism... so many people hear the word pagan and automatically think Wiccan. That drives me absolutely nuts because there's more to paganism than that one religion or spiritual path. As for reincarnation, I personally believe in it, but I don't know how it works. Whether we all have past lives, whether we can be reincarnated as anything but human, who gets reincarnated I have no idea. It's not a normal part of Hellenismos at least, not outside the mystery cults etc.
